JTHS旨在打造优秀的国内外藏学研究交流平台,促进国内外藏学学者的合作,向国外藏学界推介我国优秀藏学研究成果。
JTHS的出版必将有助于在藏学研究领域形成中西交流、相互借鉴和平等对话,推动中外学术交流的开展,目前第二期编辑工作已经启动,欢迎国内外学者赐稿(详见文末征稿通知)
JTHS主编简介:
王启龙:男,1964年生,博士生导师,中国人民大学硕士(1993),中央民族大学博士(1996),现任陕西师范大学外国语学院院长,陕西师范大学国外藏学研究中心主任,教育部特聘教授。
范德康教授(Leonard W. J. van der Kuijp):男,1952年生,哈佛大学南亚系、东亚语言与文明系藏学与喜马拉雅研究教授,内亚与阿勒泰研究学会主席,佛教数字资源中心(BDRC)董事会主席。主要研究领域为印藏佛教哲学、蒙藏关系史、汉藏关系史等,精通藏文、梵文、汉语、德语、法语、荷兰语、尼泊尔语等多门语言。

JTHS Call for Papers
The Journal of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies is a new peer-reviewed academic journal of international scope, which is edited at ShaanxiNormal University in Xi?an, China, and is published by the Boston Bilingual Media & Publishing Inc. It is a biannual journal with an independent ISSN number (ISSN 2469-780X) granted by US ISSN Center, USA. The Journal covers the reach and range of the humanities and interpretive social sciences that have to do with the cultures of the Tibetan and Himalayan regions.
Manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal must follow the Chicago Manual of Style. Manuscripts that do not do so cannot be considered for publication. They should be submitted through e-mail attachments to imalaya11@163.com and there is no rigid limit of the length of the articles, provided that they are not more than 50 pages. All contributions should contain an abstract and keywords. Aside from articles, the Journal will also publish book reviews.
All the contributions should follow the following transcription/transliteration of the relevant languages:
Chinese: The hanyu pinyin system.
Tibetan: T. Wylie, “A Standard System of Tibetan Transcription,”HJAS 22 (1959). In the case of Tibetan ?, [va] should be used to replace Wylie [']. Thus, instead of 'gyur, one should write vgyur.
Sanskrit: The system described in W. D. Whitney, Sanskrit Grammar, Cambridge, 1931.
Manchu: The M?llendorff system, in P. G. von M M?llendorff, A Manchu Grammar, Shanghai, 1892, and in Jerry Norman, A Concise Manchu-English Lexicon, Seattle, 1978.
Mongolian: The system found in A. Mostart, Dictionaire ordos, III,“Index des mots du Mongol ?crit et du mongol ancient,” Peiping, 1944,and in Nicholas Poppe, Grammar of Written Mongolian, Wiesbaden, 1954.
